چکیده
This retrospective study examines the influence of recombinant growth hormone (rGH) and melatonin adjuvants on oocyte numbers, embryo utilization live births arising from 3637 autologous IVF±ICSI treatment cycles undertaken 2376 women across ten years (2011-2020) within a pioneer Australian facility. Despite using an FSH-dosing algorithm enabling maximal doses up to 450 IU for with reduced ovarian reserve, younger had significantly higher mean numbers oocytes recovered than older ranging 11.1 <35 9.4 aged 35-39 reducing 6.5 40-44 4.0 those ?45 (p<0.0001). Overall, rate was 48.5% birth productivity 35.4 % all ages neither rGH nor showed any benefit these rates, in fact, nil highest per initiated cycle (42.0% overall: p<0.0001, 55.3% youngest group: p<0.001). Embryo increased marginally by who high reserve (p<0.05), but this did not translate into improvement rate. Similarly, other factors known cause poor prognosis, including low IGF-1 profile, recurrent implantation failure, at OPU, no adjuvants. The relevance quality examined 1135 whose residual embryos after single fresh-embryo transfer failed develop suitable grade cryopreservation. From 1727 such often displayed improved rGH, melatonin. Even so, rates were either

Single-centre retrospective analysis of growth hormone supplementation in IVF patients classified as poor-prognosis
BACKGROUND Patients undergoing in vitro fertilisation (IVF) receive various adjuvant therapies in order to enhance success rates, but the true benefit is actively debated. Growth hormone (GH) supplementation was assessed in poor-prognosis women undergoing fresh IVF transfer cycles. METHODS Data were retrospectively analysed from 400 IVF cycles, where 161 women received GH and 239 did not. R...
متن کاملDHEA Supplementation Confers No Additional Benefit to that of Growth Hormone on Pregnancy and Live Birth Rates in IVF Patients Categorized as Poor Prognosis
Background In vitro fertilization (IVF) patients receive various adjuvant therapies to enhance success rates, but the true benefit is actively debated. Growth hormone (GH) and dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA) supplementation were assessed in women undergoing fresh IVF transfer cycles and categorized as poor prognosis from five criteria. Methods Data were retrospectively analyzed from 626 women u...
متن کاملStudy shows melatonin almost doubles IVF success rate in women with poor egg quality
Influence of oxidative stress on oocyte quality and protective role of melatonin as an antioxida Poor oocyte quality is an important cause of female infertility. Reactive oxygen species (ROS) are produced within ovarian follicles, especially during ovulation process, and it is thought that increased ROS activity may be a cause of impaired oocyte maturation. Pineal hormone, melatonin, is detecte...

OBJECTIVE To test whether adjuvant therapy with acetylsalicylic acid (ASA) and prednisolone (ASA+Pred) could improve the outcome of IVF in good-pregnancy prognosis patients. DESIGN Prospective, randomized study. SETTING University hospital. PATIENT(S) Three hundred ninety-five infertile couples undergoing IVF. INTERVENTION(S) Patients were randomized to receive ASA+Pred (n = 97) or noth...

Background Our objective was to evaluate the effectiveness of clomiphene citrate (CC) vs. letrozole (L) plus human menopausal gonadotropin (hMG) in gonadotropin releasing hormone (GnRH) antagonist protocol in poor prognosis women with previous failed ovarian stimulation undergoing intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI). MaterialsAndMethods This retrospective cohort study included cycles with C...
